Kia is planning on using Chicago to introduce their recently teased Ray Concept. The powertrain Kia is planning on using is similar to the unit already slated for use in the Sonata Hybrid that will be hitting the lots later this year. In fact, the only likely difference will be the size.
According to Kia, the plug in system will be able to provide about 40 miles of purely electric travel.

Hotel Metro, a boutique, high-rise luxury 63 room hotel that features numerous green aspects, from energy efficient lighting to a rooftop hot tub spa kept clean by using a salt-water system, rather than chlorine. Which sounds great and all, but hey.. lady! Sleeping in the pool... not such a great idea!
